Description
Originating from the exotic Caribbean island of Jamaica, jerk is both a cooking technique as well as a blend of spices. Traditionally used as a dry rub or wet marinade for chicken and pork, it’s also used with tofu, fish, prawns, beef, lamb, sausage, goat and vegetables.
One of the main ingredients in Jerk, apart from allspice berries, is fiery scotch bonnet chillies, so if you want authenticity, you’ll need to add one or more of these to your dishes, as this blend is chilli free!

Ingredients: brown sugar, allspice berries (pimento), black pepper, cumin, ginger, thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves.
