Hi, I’m Judy, the founder and owner of Spice Fusion.

Born and bred in Melbourne, Australia, my diet while growing up was the ubiquitous “meat and three veg” with an occasional spaghetti bolognese, Chinese chow mein or curried sausages.

Nowadays, we in Australia enjoy a huge variety of cuisines from every corner of the globe, and home cooking has never been more exciting. How things
have changed!

My spice journey began with a small coffee and spice grinder, which I initially used to grind coriander and cumin seeds. The amazing aroma from these ground spices led me to develop different blends of spices and, in 2008, I began selling these in little ziplock bags (with a recipe card) to friends,
family and workmates.

From ziplock bags and stand-up pouches, I made the move to glass jars and professionally printed labels in 2009, and began documenting recipes and ways to use my products. Then in 2012, my hobby became a business after I left the corporate world and fulfilled a long-held dream to sell my spices at local markets.

Over the years, I’ve added a lot more recipes and products, including a range of dukkah, several barbecue rubs and a very popular Chimichurri, and am continually learning about the magic of spices, spice blending and
cooking with spices.
