Even hamburgers benefit from the addition of spices, in this case the 10 spices found in
Tandoori Masala! Serve the burgers in rolls with a dollop of garlic yoghurt and slices of red and
yellow capsicum.
500g lean minced beef
2 tbsp breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Spice Fusion Tandoori Masala
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp finely chopped tomato (fresh or canned)
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 egg, lightly beaten coriander or parsley leaves, finely chopped
2 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
Combine Tandoori Masala and all ingredients except oil and mix thoroughly.
With wet hands, form into 4 patties.
Heat oil in frying pan and cook patties until golden brown on both sides.
Serve with Spiced Yoghurt Dressing spooned over or on the side.
SPICED YOGHURT DRESSING
½ cup plain Greek-style yoghurt
1 tbsp ground coriander
½ tsp ground cumin
Pinch chilli powder.
Combine all ingredients together.
